The former Director of GFRAS, Ms Christine, who led a team of Feed the Future Developing Local Extension Capacity to Ahmadu Bello University, has said during an interactive session with extension professionals from both the public and private sectors, that NIFAAS is positioned to drive the needed change in the Nigerian agricultural extension system. She said that no other extension body has the capacity to bring together both public and private extension service providers, as well as farmers groups and other stakeholders as NIFAAS. She stated it while fielding questions from participants on how best to move the nation’s extension service forward.

It is noteworthy that NIFAAS Co-hosted the Interactive session, along with NAERLS; It lasted about three hours on 18 January 2017. It was held at the Conference Hall of NAERLS and was attended by the entire ABU Agricultural Complex.
